Piattelli’s Murano Glass Mobile Chandelier on AD Magazine

We are proud to see our Cinetico chandelier featured on a piece on Architectural Digest. The AD article takes us on a tour of a London townhouse designed by Rachel Chudley filled with stunning works of art and design that are sure to take your breath away.

A true centerpiece of the home, our Murano glass Cinetico mobile chandelier graces the hallway with its exquisite craftsmanship. This chandelier, adorned with delicate glass components that dance with the play of light, diffuses the space with a warm and inviting ambiance.

This light is one of Piattelli Design’s early chandeliers, and we proudly retain the original prototype from two decades ago. Back then, it was a pioneering chandelier in many respects, as it harnessed cutting-edge technology of the time. The metal structure was precision-crafted using laser cutting techniques, while the glass components were intricately water-jet cut. To select the glass pressed sheets, we embarked on a journey to Effetre Murano International, ensuring only the finest materials were used. The glass cutting process was entrusted to the skilled artisans at the now-lamented Fido shop, known for housing the first water jet in the Venetian region. This chandelier stands as a testament to the marriage of artistry and technology that defines Piattelli Design.

The various other pieces of art and design that fill the house, showcase the owners’ impeccable taste and appreciation for unique, one-of-a-kind finds.

The article is beautifully penned by Madeline O’Malley and the great photography is by Simon Upton. This is a must-read for anyone who loves art, design, and beautiful homes!
