We have spotted one of our chandeliers in this New York City project. This elegant bedroom, part of a historic 5th Avenue Co-Op, was beautifully designed by Janine Carendi MacMurray of AREA Interior Design.
The apartment is situated in a 1930 Art Deco high-rise designed by Rosario Candela, a building rich in history and once called home by Jackie O! Located just steps from the MET, the residence was renovated by AREA Interior Design to preserve its historical charm while creating a family ambiance.
In the master suite, with views of Central Park, our Veneziana chandelier serves as a focal point. The fixture features Venetian carved transparent glass with a design reminiscent of feathers. These elements are impressed on hot glass to create a lens effect, diffusing light across the room. The 24K gold plating adds a warm touch that completes the room’s neutral tones and vintage accents.
We want to praise Janine Carendi MacMurray for her vision and we are proud to light such a refined space.
