Our Sistema Solare and Gaia Chandeliers in a Edwardian Home in West Hampstead

In the leafy streets of West Hampstead, where London feels more like a village, an American ex-pat has found her home. After years in Milan and New York, she was drawn to this neighborhood’s mix of character, café culture, and quiet charm. Now, she divides her time between the city and her villa in the hills of Tuscany.

At the heart of her Edwardian townhouse, our Sistema Solare Chandelier brings a soft Italian glow to the living room. Made in Italy from thin slices of translucent ivory onyx, the chandelier creates a warm, welcoming light that highlights the room’s period details—its high ceilings, wooden floors, and ornate fireplace. The brass structure adds a contemporary note, balancing old and new with understated elegance.

In the hallway, two pieces from our Gaia Lighting Collection greet guests with a gentle shimmer. Their Amber and Red Mezza Filigrana glass spheres, hand-blown using the revived Murano technique, catch the daylight from the stained-glass door and fill the space with a subtle warmth.

Together, these lights reflect the homeowner’s journey—a blend of London tradition and Italian craftsmanship—turning her West Hampstead home into a meeting point between two worlds.
