Stone to Stone

Set on a hillside above the Loire River, this 19th-century home blends classic architecture with troglodytic rooms carved into the pale tufa rock. In its stone-carved dining room, Piattelli Design’s Sistema Solare chandelier seems to belong naturally, six glowing onyx shades floating like small suns, casting a soft light over the rough walls.
Below, a hand-crafted walnut table by Atelier Saint Albin complements the warmth of the onyx. Together, they create a dialogue between ancient stone and contemporary Italian craftsmanship, where history, light, and design quietly converge.
