Our Palmette Chandelier has been featured in the November 2022 issue of Elle Decor, one of the most respected publications in the world of interior design. The chandelier appears in a feature about a SoHo loft in Manhattan, designed by the acclaimed interior designer Todd Raymond in collaboration with Workshop/APD.
The Manhattan loft is a unique project, full of architectural surprises and personalized details. With clever use of space and material, Raymond and Workshop/APD have created a sophisticated yet functional urban retreat. One of the most distinctive qualities of this home is how it plays with hidden elements, doors that disappear, multifunctional spaces, and textures that tell a story.
In the main bedroom, our Palmette Chandelier plays a central role. Suspended above the bed, it anchors the room with a quiet sense of luxury. The chandelier’s twelve hot-sculpted glass leaves, crafted from a combination of clear and Lattimo (milky-white) Venetian glass, reflect both tradition and innovation. Its low-profile mount is ideal for the intimate proportions of the space.
Designed originally for a prestigious cruise vessel, the Palmette Chandelier was made to offer beauty in spaces with lower ceilings. Its leaf elements are shaped by hand using centuries-old Murano techniques, resulting in a one-of-a-kind light sculpture.
We thank Todd Raymond and his team for selecting our work for such a refined project.
