Milan Design Week 2023 is just around the corner, and Artemest is taking the event by storm with “L’Appartamento” in Via Cesare Correnti 14, a Milanese apartment curated by six international interior design firms. The apartment is a unique location for designers to showcase their creative visions and celebrate Italian craftsmanship. Each studio will design a room in the apartment using furniture, lighting, home décor, and art from a selection of Artemest artisans, brands, designers, and artists. Among the designs featured in the exhibition is Piattelli’s Quadriennale chandelier, a mid-century design with a modern color combination that features four counterbalanced arms and can be moved in various positions, with twin shades connected to the arm with a pivoting joint. The chandelier has a sculptural appeal due to its crossing design and features four different tones of blue on the shades with counterbalance weight that repeats the color.
