We always love seeing our designs find their place in beautiful homes. Recently, our clients Jochem and Ingrid renovated a historic brick house in Rotterdam. Located right by the peaceful Slotvijver pond, the surrounding area offers a quiet, green escape right in the middle of the city.
Inside, their beautifully finished kitchen opens right up into a dining room overlooking a lush garden. Hanging above the kitchen’s wooden island is our Sistema Solare Chandelier. The chandelier’s brass structure perfectly complements the island’s unique brass countertop, while its thinly cut ivory onyx shades cast a warm, inviting light across the room.
To complete the space, they added two of our Sistema wall sconces. These fixtures use a lower marble disc for direct task lighting, while an upper opening adds soft ambient light to the walls. It is a wonderful mix of historic charm and modern warmth.
