Featured on AD: our chandelier in a Red Hot Chili Pepper’s sky chalet

We are glad to see that one of our signature chandeliers has been featured in Architectural Digest. The article, written by AD100 designer Ken Fulk, offers a glimpse into the eclectic Montana ski chalet of Chad Smith, drummer for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and his wife, architect Nancy Mack.

The home, affectionately dubbed Naughty Pines, is perched on a mountainside and serves as a cozy retreat for the Smith family and their guests. Fulk’s design blends rustic alpine charm with playful mid-century modern flair, creating a space that feels both nostalgic and entirely fresh.
At the heart of this mountain escape is the great room, a spectacular space featuring sweeping views of the surrounding mountains. Hanging from its ceiling is our mid-century modern design’s Eight-Arm Brass Chandelier.

Crafted in natural solid brass with a choice of ivory or black shades, the chandelier balances elegance with engineering precision. Its rotating arms and adjustable heads cast a warm ambient glow while subtly highlighting textures and surfaces below.

Ken Fulk’s creative genius and the Smiths’ passion for artful living created the perfect backdrop for our chandelier. We are happy to have our piece play a central role in such an inspiring interior, and grateful to Ken Fulk for recognizing the craftsmanship and design that goes into every light we make.
