Sculptural glass table made with 3 twisted Murano made rods.

This is the first series of the Torsade cocktail table, designed by Maurice Barilone and edited by Reflex.
It’s one of the best cocktail tables design that I have seen. An incredible intuition for one of the best furniture designers.

You simply can’t stop looking at it. I see it on the gorgeous sea shore homes that I see on AD or Introspective. Full of light for a glass sculpture.

The three colors version is not produced anymore. There is a twisted rod in ruby color, one in cobalt blue and one in deep green. The three rods nests each into the other like a three dimensional puzzle. There is a special glue in the central groove to keep the pieces together.

The rods are made in Murano by a specialized team who used to be the top team of Livio Seguso.
This is probably why sometime this table gets the wrong attribution of being made by Seguso.

Perfectly packed this carries the rectangular tabletop that was offered at first. I believe this series started in the 1990s.
