Part of the Maestro Collection curated by Silvio Piattelli, these Murano glass sconces originate from the Alberto Donà furnace.
The clear glass is hand-opened using the Rigadin technique, where blowing into a specialized mould imprints a series of narrow, parallel vertical ribs to create a finely lined optical texture.
This surface is further enhanced with a micron-thin layer of iridescence, achieved by rolling the hot glass in smoke from burning sawdust with a small addition of platinum salts.
For added design complexity, a hand-formed sphere in matching Rigadin glass is suspended below the shade, creating a rhythmic play of light within the material.
The Art Deco-inspired mount is crafted from solid brass, defined by a rectangular wall plate and a sleek, stylized arm
