Part of the Maestro Collection, curated by Silvio Piattelli, these Murano glass sconces originate from the Alberto Donà furnace.
The hand-opened, grey-toned glass is produced using the Rigadin technique; this involves blowing the glass into a distinct mould that imprints a series of narrow, vertical parallel ribs, resulting in a finely lined, optical texture.
For a richer design complexity, a hand-formed pinnacle, executed in the same Rigadin textured glass, is suspended below the shade.
This process creates a rhythmic play of light within the material.
The base is made in solid brass in Art Deco style, featuring a stylized arm and a rectangular wall plate.
The natural finish and refined geometry allow these pieces to transition seamlessly between minimalist and maximalist aesthetics.
