Two armchairs designed by Gigi Radice. Made by Minotti in the 1950s.
From a villa in central Sicily, wood structure was made firm, padding replaced, belts replaced and upholstered with Rubelli rose writing velvet of Martora collection.
Upholsterer have used different density foam for perfect confort. This is the fourth group. He kept the full rounded padding on the frame but kept the “coupe” effect on the front frame. See the photos.
Upholsterer/restaurer said it is the most beautiful velvet he has seen.
