Midcentury look Murano made table lamp.
Massiccio glass. Several layers of glass are picked from the crucible and afterwards pre shaped on the marble (in Murano called Bronzino) and than deep ground with different wheels, to high polish. The last passage is made with cork and cerium.
The faces are therefore cut random and giving a sculptural effect.
Maker used a mezzatinta color. A beautiful moss green that is perfect for the style and fits today’s taste.

Has a reminiscence of Max Ingrand Fontana Arte model 2228 made in 65, from which the hardware and the idea takes inspiration. Fontana Arte was limited to the green color of float glass. Here the producer could expand to other colors the concept and picked a great color selection.

Mezzatinta leads to a handful Murano makers but there is no other help in the attribution. Cenedese, Toso and Seguso are a possibility.
