Unique tall bottle from Seguso, using a technique called Corroso, where the glass is textured with fluoridric acid and sawdust. A technique used by Carlo Scarpa and Seguso. The bottled is a flat squared shape, made with green cased over amethyst. A layering of colors called incamiciato. The color combination is instead called Mezzatinta where the combination of two layered colors is made to attain an unique glass coloration, otherwise not possible with the classic pigments of glass.
Unique shape, color and texture. A rare piece.
Carries original label, the green and the techniques are typical of Seguso Vetri d’Arte.
This texture brings this exceptional piece to fit perfectly in the brutalism era and style.
