This is the large version of the Prismatico Glass Chandelier. Showcased in the great two tone glass combination:  Light Amber and Amethyst.
This chandelier carries close to 400 elements of glass.  Diameter of 135 cm (about 54″).  It’s grand, it’s beautiful, it’s heavy.
Body is 55 cm in height and the standard height is 140 cm. The chain can be adapted to accept any drop.
The design incorporates pencil-shaped glass elements arranged to form a compact barrier, concealing the hardware and offering a seamless glass view. The concave sides of each prism act as a magnifying lens, effectively hiding the hardware and creating the appearance of floating glass elements.
Technically, I used light dispersion through refraction rather than the traditional diffraction method. This approach allowed me to avoid the rough or hammered texture typically seen in multiple blown glass elements, resulting in smooth, clean surfaces with crisp edges. This unique technique sets my design apart.
Created by Silvio Piattelli in 2021, this collection presents a modern approach to multi-glass fixtures. The hardware is finished in warm satin brass, with glass elements secured by solid brass fittings.
The chandelier can be installed with a hardwired stem for semi-flush mounting or with an optional chain for high ceilings.
The showcased version features light amber glass and amethyst mixed together, the warm rose Amethyst matches perfectly the light Amber providing a warm, cozy and unique light.
Other colors are available, including options for transparent elements for increased brightness or taupe for a dramatic effect.

With a capacity for 16 bulbs,  depending on the bulb used. the chandelier delivers 15k lumens, suitable for both bright and subdued lighting needs.
