This is the version from Vistosi with the big murrina in the center of the body.

Designed by Alessandro Pianon. Made in lattimo opaline glass cased over with taupe gray.

Mouth-blown and hand-opened glass. When lit, the gray almost disappears to leave an amber/white color.
Pianon and Vistosi added a 4,5 cm 3 inches wide Murrina that catches the light.

Again, when unlit it looks like a mix of black, white and gray, and when lit it displays the yellow and the jade green hues.

This is a rare piece. Vistosi took leadership of glassmaking in the 1960s thanks to Pianon, Sottsass and Gae Aulenti.

Hardware has been replaced with beautiful natural brass elements and black silk cord.
