What a nice surprise! We received a message from Gregory Frehling from Oggetti Design, with the photo of our Cinetico chandelier on a piece on Architectural Digest! This well-written AD article takes us on a tour of an art-filled London townhouse that is brimming with eclectic treasures. The house, designed by Rachel Chudley, is a true masterpiece, filled with stunning works of art and design that are sure to take your breath away.
One of the standout pieces in the home is our Murano glass Cinetico mobile chandelier that hangs in the hallway. This magnificent chandelier is truly a work of art in its own right, featuring delicate glass pieces that catch the light and create a warm, inviting atmosphere. This is one of Piattelli Design's earlier chandeliers. We still have the prototype from 20 years ago. It was at the time a pioneer chandelier in many aspects, since it used the ultimate technology of the time: laser cut for the metal structure and water-jet cut for the glass. We went to Effetre Murano International to select the glass pressed sheets and cutting the glass at the late lamented Fido shop, which had the first water jet in use in the Venetian area.
The various other pieces of art and design that fill the house, showcase the owners' impeccable taste and appreciation for unique, one-of-a-kind finds.
The article is beautifully penned by Madeline O'Malley and the great photography is by Simon Upton. This is a must-read for anyone who loves art, design, and beautiful homes!
