Large beautiful base with the unique tecnique of Incalmo, where the upper band is in clear glass and gold 24K leaf. The body is instead ribbed with deep pulegoso inside amber glass.
Beside the skillful sum of techniques what makes this vase exceptional is the size.
It’s part of a large group of vases, probably a sample production of ice buckets for an importer.
